How did you get involved in CrossFit?I can blame Nicki Terborg for my CrossFit addition. I actually chickened out the first time I was going to come try a class but then a few months later I had to do something to get moving and in shape again.

What was your first WOD/experience? Murph...and yes, I came back and I did it again this year.

When did you start coming to CrossFit Kilter/ how long have you been CrossFitting for? A little over a year!

When did you realize that CrossFit was right for you? Within the first week I was hooked. I wasn't bored and staring at the clock for it to be over, and I loved the challenge.

What are you short-term and long-term CrossFit goals? Short-term: Hand stand push up Long-term: Muscle up

What is your biggest accomplishment? Really, it's anytime I can beat my PR or do something that I was not able to do before. I'm just happy to be stronger and to be getting better at the movements.

What is your favorite / least favorite WOD/movement?

I have a love/hate relationship with every movement.

Favorite Movements: My favorite is pretty much a tie between the front and back squat.

Least Favorite Movement: My least favorite by far is the overhead squat.

What do you do for a profession outside of CrossFit? I own a graphic design/marketing company which allows me to work from home and care for my kiddos at the same time.

What are your hobbies outside of CrossFit? DIY and organizing projects...I paint and stain everything I see. I love doing projects around the house to make our house a home.

What do you do for nutrition? Do you eat Paleo or Zone? What is your favorite paleo/non-paleo meal? Besides trying not to eat my kids goldfish crackers I just try to eat small meals and incorporate fruits and veggies. I like my AdvoCare products to fill in my gaps in nutrition. I'd have to say tacos are my favorite dinner (partially because it's easy and my kids will eat it, and partially because then I can have guac).

Fun fact about you? I'm pretty boring. I was born in Lake Havasu, AZ but I have never been there for spring break. Thanks to MTV for making that middle of nowhere, desert town a hot destination for college kids, otherwise it's claim to fame is the London Bridge.
