How did you get involved in CrossFit? I was supporting Ashley and Jason and thought I would just give it a try on the day it was open for everyone. I quit my other gym the next day and have been going ever since.Tell us about your first WOD experience? I felt like I was going to be okay because I had been doing Bootcamp. Instead, I felt incredibly awkward, but at the same time, I knew that it was something that was going to make me feel accomplished and strong.

When did you start coming to CrossFit Kilter and how long have you been doing CrossFit? I started the day Kilter opened, so it's been about 2 years and 2 months. When and how did you realize CrossFit was right for you? I always loved the encouragement from the community--especially my noon friends, but once I started to RX more often and started doing it for me and not to just "not finish last", I realized that CrossFit was for me. I think about it a lot and miss it when I can't go. What are your short term and long term CrossFit goals? 

Short term: Get a ring muscle up

Long term: Do one competition What is your favorite and least favorite CrossFit movement?

Favorite: I love a good snatch

Least favorite: I'm not a fan of overhead squats What is you profession? I'm a dance teacher at Deerfield High School and Coach the Lake Forest Dance Team What are some of your hobbies? I'm a school nerd and love going back to school every chance I get. I also like taking hip hop classes just to make sure I'm still a little cool.  What do you do for nutrition? Paleo, Zone? Etc? I use Xyngular and eat clean, but I really am a sucker for french fries.
