What was your first WOD/experience?I don’t remember my very first experience but one WOD that sticks in my mind from my first year of doing crossfit was a 12 days of Christmas workout. When did you start coming to CrossFit Kilter/ how long have you been CrossFitting for?
I started coming to Crossfit Kilter in July and I have been crossfiting since the summer of 2012. When did you realize that CrossFit was right for you?
I think from my very first day! I loved it right away What are you short-term and long-term CrossFit goals?
My short-term goals are to continually improve and get stronger physically and mentally. My long-term goals are to compete (and to win of course) What is your biggest accomplishment?
My biggest accomplishment overall in my crossfit career was overcoming a serious injury. I dislocated my ankle and they told me I would never be able to walk right again. What is your favorite / least favorite WOD/movement?
My favorites are handstands (pushups, walks, whatever!) and my least favorite is dead lifts.
What do you do for a profession outside of CrossFit?
I am an engineer for Abbott Laboratories. What are your hobbies outside of CrossFit?
Recently I was training for a triathlon. I love to hike, read, go to the lake, be outside, and do anything fun! What do you do for nutrition? Do you eat Paleo or Zone? What is your favorite paleo/non-paleo meal?
I am doing neither at the moment. I have done Paleo before. I just try to eat as healthy as possible!
Fun fact about you?
I was a level 10 gymnast once upon a time and I have done gymnastics since I was 18 months old.
